That's a great idea, I should build one! :chuckle: The whole project is a no brainier though. Take your pick of any barrel manufacturer, buy some Hornady brass, a 338 RCM die set and a 375 Ruger FL die, some 250gr Bergers or SMKs for target shooting or 260gr Hammer Hunters for hunting, and a keg of either H4350 or H100-v. Throw in some Federal 215 primers just to be safe and you're good to go! For load data you can just pull either 340 Weatherby or 330 Dakota data. Don't let the internet experts tell you that the 33 Nosler will outperform it either. The 33 Nosler cases I've measured were lucky to hit 90gr water capacity while my 338/375 Ruger cases are all around 99.0gr. |
