I know this sucks but I am sorry to say that they are here to stay.  I have seen a lake poisoned by the state numerous time for northerns and they still are there.  That walleye doesn't look very healthy to me or that just he way WA walleyes look.  I am all for catching both of these fish if someone has a boat.  Both are very tasty fish.

No evidence that these fish will reproduce and provide fisheries on the west side.

If there are boys and girls, it'll happen.

This is what the bucket biologists think.
Which is why they have been doing it since 20...no 19...no most likely they have been trying since 18## something, when other species like Bass were introduced to the West Coast.
But since the media is convinced it will work the bucket biology will continue.

Lake Washington has had pike, tench, walleye and many other invasive species for years.  No one seemed to care until recently.

Me:  (Gazing into the distance as a bald eagle screeches)  "I'm always free"
