I have seen that from past years. And there are people that still think that they aren't recovered :dunno: :bdid: Hopefully the USFW will actually fight and win in court this time to continue with the delisting and hunting season. |

Yep, that is the reason I saw so few deer & elk in my 20 days around the Avery area. |

There are quite a few wolves down near Avery, but still plenty of elk. My friends group went 9 for 11 with bows...the wolves haven't killed all the elk like some would lead you to believe. |

9 for 11 is very impressive for the folks I have talked to this last year. I typically pass on several bucks each year in that region, and the biggest buck I saw was 1.5 year old forked horn white tail. I saw a raghorn bull that I didn't get a shot at. And I saw a small bear. After elk season ended, I saw another raghorn bull, but i didn't see near the volume of elk i have seen in the past. |
