70gr of the H4831. It’s pushing the 200gr ABs at 2,800fps but that’s the most accurate load at .25” at 100yds and 4” at 550yds. During load development I got higher velocities and even 3000fps  with IMR4831 but accuaracy wasn’t that great. So I settled with accuracy over velocity. I can still reach out there.

I know some guys swear by RL22 for the .300, but I can’t get past the temperature sensitivity issues since I hunt in Montana where it gets damn cold.

After this hunting season i’m going try the 190gr Accubonds (due to cheaper bullet prices) and see how they work amd what kind of velocity I can get.

Federal magnum rifle match primers for me. Seem to do the trick, so I bought a brick of 1000ct.

75 gr with 200 grain Partitions @ 2930 fps .050 off.  H1000 works well for me also

I know it's typically hard to find but if you can get your hands on some Vihtavuori N570 I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with the results.  Viht also has a new powder, N565, and it sounds like it's going to do very well in these size cases, too.

Well I did an H-1000 ladder test today and I was not disappointed. Started at 76-and went to 78. I never had an SD over 5. Seated out to 3.600 (mag length).
76 was at 2910 with an SD of 3.6.

76.5 was at 2915, with an SD of 4.6.

77 was at 2941 with an SD of 4.6. It was also about 3/8” group

77.5 was at 2960 with an SD of 2, but slight pressure, very slight ejector swipe, and a small crater. 3/8” group.

78 was at 2980 with an SD of 5. A little too much pressure though. Ejector mark was deeper, and crater was deeper.

I think I am going to try the 77 grains. There was a very slight primer crater, but nothing else.
