Elk Ivory Ideas...
« on: October 31, 2018, 08:07:18 PM »
What do you guys do with your ivories?  Any cool ideas anyone would like to share?  I’ve seen lots of necklaces, ear rings, etc.  My dad was with me when I killed my WA bull this year, pretty special moment.  I was thinking about drilling a hole in the base / thin part of the tooth and adding a key ring loop to place on his bunting pack.  He’d have one, I’d have the other.

Always looking for cool ideas, please share!

I thought of that idea as well and even saw a picture of one.  I think that’d be awesome

They wear white eventually so keep that in mind.. a knife would be cool but if it saw much use itd loose its stain...maybe an epoxy cover  :dunno:
