Gear for above average girls?

My sis in law has a rather round back end but is not a big girl. She just got that Kim K butt. Anyway, she has luck with Under Armor and even some Sitka.

What type of hunting does she do?

sit in a blind? up in a tree?
chase elk up a mountain side in September?
crossing rocky ridges chasing goats?
walking in behind locked gates a couple miles?

We gotta narrow this down some before we toss out too many suggestions.

Got the sitting in a blind covered, she wears waders or I got a big poofy pair of camo pants that is good for that, but I'm talking about gear for elk deer and backpacking, hiking just looking to get her reliable gear.

We realized that we need to hunt harder and go further than a few hours hike from wherever we can get my jeep into, while that can be ok, we figure if I can get my jeep up into some area, and hike a few hours from it, there are probabpy about 25 other people that have done the same thing, and with my cabin up in the mountains having hundreds of miles of trails we also want to start backpacking further too, and we all know the right gear makes an otherwise miserable trip awesome

lotsa layers then

look outside the hunting world for high quality base and mid layers (think merino wools and blends) putting on a baggy thin top layer isn't so bad if your base and mid layer is solid.   I just get muted colors like black for base layering

Check out the Eddie Bauer First Ascent stuff. The pants are freaking awesome and they are made with that stretch fabric. You can get them in tactical colors like khaki and OD green and they would work just fine for hiking and elk hunting. My wife is tall and she has a hard time finding pants that work for her and she loves her EB stuff.

I can sympathize with the OP's huntress, finding any pants to fit, especially quality hunting pants can be a difficult task. I've yet to find the perfect brand, I usually just buy men's pants and cinch the waist with a belt or make do with uncomfortable women's pants. The suggestion of using a seamstress is a good one. I'd also like to find somewhere to try on the higher end gear (First Lite, Kuiu, etc.) before spending that much. Sorry I don't have any advice, I guess I'm mostly tagging along to see if anyone has any brilliant suggestions
