Since Ed brought up the idea for the weigh in for the biggest beaver, I was asked by a long-time life member if we could keep some kind of a record for the biggest animal. So I said, you bet So this season take a weight of all of your animals and give them to me. I am starting a record book and we will make it official some how. You need to have it weighed in on a certified scare if possible and a witness. Post it here (picture of it on the scare) but remember to send the info to me. JC :hello: When you send it to me here is what I need: Your name: Date of catch: species: Badger Beaver Bobcat Coyote Mink Muskrat Nutria Pine Marten Raccoon ............ If you used a fish scale like the ones you use when fishing, the problem with those (older ones) is that they could be off a pound or two and some of those that weigh ounces can be off too. But since this is a unofficial weigh in book which I will try and get WDFW to make it official weigh in somehow, maybe one of those fish or meat (in the hunting dept) scales at Cabela's that sells for $49.99 would work. Lets go with those. I'm looking on the internet to see if I can find something that might work. I'll let you know what I find. JC :hello: |
