It is funny, I tell my kids when I first started going out to Ozette the raccoons were very bad. They would keep you up all night. It was war with them. They would be in your tent before you could zip it up sometimes. In the last 7 years we have seen tracks just once and that was at Cape Alava. The raccoons did make for some good night time fun when we were in high school out on spring break. The place sure has changed since then.

My wife did the same thing our first trip out there, except the raccoons got Nyquil!

I love tide pooling in the area.  We usually go in north.  Id love it without people, but I bet this is the nicest weather it sees most Novembers.   Its cool you got to see some bear.
