:dunno: Huh? Did I miss something? The guy in the video is not wearing Sitka, does not reference Sitka, and IMO is not hurting their business.  He is sharing his opinion in a tasteful manner on a public platform. I don't agree with his message but I can respect the delivery. It wont keep me from supporting Sitka regardless of whether he remains employed by them or not. I am sure when hired they were looking at a resume that included a whole lot more than whether or not he supported universal background checks. But maybe that why they run a multi million dollar business and we critique it from our keyboards.

 BV, you came into a little late I think. The guy posted the video, with his work title proudly displayed for everyone to see who he worked for, across his page. Since the video outrage, he has removed the Sitka title from the page. ;)

Because he's been fired...

 BV asked if he missed something, simply explaining what he missed.
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!

I don't own any sitka gear but this won't keep me from buying any either. Wouldn't have bothered me if they kept him on either. If we keep up our us vs them mentality and keep throwing more of "us" into the "them" camp we will definitely lose. We are already the minority.

That said it's a fine line to walk without being trampled by the opposition.

It seems to me that if hunters and gun owners spent as much time working together to accomplish stuff as they do blasting the competition, we'd probably get a lot more done.

Pairing up with anti-gun folks to try and beef up gun control is absurd.  I agree there needs to be unity amongst hunters but at the end of the day there still has to be a line drawn in the sand as gun owners.

Based on the conversation I just had with Sitka employees, I don’t think he left very quietly.

But because he’s gone... I am back in the Sitka customer pool  :tup:

Last thing sportsmen need is for anti hunters and firearms activists to infiltrate their ranks

See this happening more frequently with easily accessible social media. Green groups opposed to hunting and firearms join sportsmen groups and are well funded then try and change the meaning of lawful and ethical hunting and the definition of a lawful necessary hunting firearm. Just look to California, New York and Europe. I’ve hunted in Europe and you don’t want the same refs they do.

It’s not an us against them it’s an us against our enemies as sportsmen.

You see this tactic used on here hunt wa by the well-funded anti hunting group conservation northwest
