Nice blacktail. I got mine opening day 1990. I still have an article about it from the Washington Oregon hunt and fish news magazine.

If it's smok'in it's cook'in. If it's black it's done.

Does anyone still have the article that was in the Reflector a few years back.  Some guy killed a monster buck in the Battle Ground unit with a shotgun, it was completely non typical but had gross mass.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

This is my biggest.  I have not had him scored and I don't plan to.  I don't really care either way, all I know is this deer gave me the run around for three years before i finally killed him.  I found two of his sheds in two years and killed him the third year on Halloween day.  Grunted him in and shot him at 30 yards with my 270.  I finally outsmarted him and that is score enough for me.  Hope you like

Nice Blackies.  Gotta get over to the wet-side and do that someday...
