And just think Idaho was eligible for delisting in 6 years, WA is 17 years into the wolf program according to WDF$W.

Thanks for Posting KF

Idaho's pro-wolf IDFG got voted out by the public, impossible to hold the corrupt upper management of WDFW accountable. Keep voting democrat and end up with the same results year after year.

WDFW's agenda is to end hunting and become entirly tax payer funded while partnered up with fake environmental groups like CNW and DoW etc..

The staff and leadership of IDFG have been very consistent...the last several Directors have been IDFG staff since before wolves were ever reintroduced.  There was and has been no substantive staff changes or "voting'out" of any IDFG staff for any wolf issue.  Carry on with your misinformation and revisionist history...

Our new director is in favor of national delisting and management. He's taking active steps toward better predator management, all around. I wouldn't count out the department on this just yet. The commission is a little different, being appointed by King Inslee.

Wait a minute... I can get reimbursed to go play in the woods of Idaho if I kill a wolf? We should start a "Wolf Camp", similar to an Elk Camp. Get some buddies together and have our trip reimbursed while helping out the ungulates. This is the greatest thing I have ever heard.

"The reimbursement request process is quite simple- to request a reimbursement, follow the detailed steps below:

The first step is to start saving receipts prior to harvesting a wolf- receipts need to be for items purchased in relation to the scouting, hunting, or trapping of wolves. These can include items such as firearms, ammunition, traps, game cameras, outdoor clothing/gear, license & tag fees, ATV/UTV, 4-wheel truck purchase or payments, etc."

I would assume etc. includes food  :chuckle:  :dunno:

BIG BAD WOLVES!
They’re believed to be behind the deaths of a heard of 19 elk in Bondurant, Wyoming. Wolves killing elk is nothing new but the fact they didn’t bother to eat the herd is worrying wildlife officials.
‘It appears to be sport killing,’ said John Lund, who works for the Wyoming Game and Fish Department. ‘There is a significant concern among wildlife managers.’ He added it was extremely rare for wolves to not eat what they had killed.
There have been no reports of the animals attacking humans so far but the incident will worry some people. Especially as authorities are limited in their response because wolves in the area are protected.   :'(

These ones they introduced are bigger and way more aggressive from what I've read. They are worse than what was native here back in the day. The wolves the old timers got rid of were bad enough!
