After really looking forward to eating an elk roast tonight, I found something I have never seen before. As you see by the picture, there is discoloring in the center of the meat. This spot ran the entire length of the roast, about 10 inches. Anyone have an idea of what it is? My thoughts, possible gland?, spoiling, or :dunno:. |
