I’m getting leery of used scopes with dials now.  Used to be if they worked they worked but now dial wear is a concern.   Scopes without dialing never wore out. Now how many times can you dial that turret before wear or slop develops? Seeing scopes that are fine even with factory inspection but will no longer group at 600 or 1000 yards like a different scope does.    Some comp guys are selling every two years cuz they know its wearing.  I don’t want to be the buyer.

Would t that be covered by life time warranty?

Worn turrets are easy to prove - swap a proven scope on - but hard to detect - and even worse if you are still in the process of developing a good load.  You keep changing powder and jump but the scope keeps wandering.
