The American Soldier and Jesus Christ. One died for your freedom, the other for your soul.

There’s a big difference between having a discussion with somebody and having a discussion about somebody. When he went and deleted all of his posts about the deer that should have been the end of it, but you had to go and dredge it back up for what? To continue the ridicule? To continue insinuating that he’s a liar? Pathetic.

Agreed.

You've set this up to ridicule a man who knows more about Mule Deer than you will ever know.

That has to make you feel good.

Baloney !!  Nothing was "set up" to make me, or anyone else, feel good.  I, and many others here, have hunted the Methow for many years.  To hear about extraordinarily large mule deer in the unit would pique the interest of anyone who hunts that unit.  There are no "secret" honey holes in the Methow........believe me.  The entire unit is virtually all public land, and there is nowhere you can hunt without running into other hunters.  When a claim is made that there is a "migration route" of enormous bucks that nobody else is aware of, it is fair game for discussion.

We used to talk to a man who worked for an outfitter in the valley for many years.  He packed hunters into areas that are accessible only by horse.  He told us stories of very big deer taken every year.  He knew every inch of the Methow, and was willing to share all he knew.  There were never any tales of outsized bucks......big bucks, yes.........450-500 lb. monsters, no.

It's a hunting forum, and a deer hunting thread.  Since some here have gotten their feelings hurt by me, I will cease and desist, and end the discussion.  That doesn't mean that the questions will go away, just that those who actually care about deer hunting in the Methow will discuss it among themselves, so as not to hurt sensitive feelings.
