Just wondering how many people hunt this unit. I've been thinking of getting the second elk tag and giving it a shot. Looks like the season for that unit ends in January. |

A bunch! And just because they're master hunters doesn't mean they're all masters! There's just as many driving the roads searching for the "low hanging fruit"! |

Most of it is. The public land is pretty crowded. |

I have hunted it for years, I would make plans for more than one trip and bang on a bunch of doors. 90% of the landowners in the area would just as soon see every last elk in the valley killed.....discreetly. Permission in that area is way easier to acuire after the season closes for the general. |
