What is your budget, performance expectations, location?  How far do you want to travel?

I will do a fair amount of upland work with the dog so looking for a leaner, long legged dog.
I want a good quality pup.
Honestly budget and travel are secondary considerations if it's exactly what we want.
I will probably raise pheasants and train it myself like the others.
Thanks for your help.

Here is our newest boy from Fireweed.  Super athletic, tall, long legged, muscular.  Loves to train and hunt both upland and waterfowl.  Linda (Harger) recently moved to Payette, Idaho.

Fireweedchesapeakes.com  I would try sending her an email.  I would also check with Sleepy Hollow  Chesapeakes, Cowlitz River Chesapeakes and Skookum Creek Chesapeakes.  These are the people I would talk to first that are relatively local.  They all have websites or Facebook pages.

I got my blanche from Fischer's Kennel in Minnesota http://fischerskennels.com/.  They shipped her out here no problem.  Smaller dogs but have huge drive and the guy runs a pheasant hunting operation so its something they breed towards.
