License costs have not increased this year...yet
Is there a current bill to increase costs?
Not a current bill but it's in the governor's budget request.

There's basically two ways of doing it; 1- Standalone bill specific for fishing/license fee increases, 2- Put it into the state budget bill which is hundreds of pages long and get it passed that way. #1 hasn't worked for the past few years, wouldn't be surprised if they approve it through route #2.

So how does that work if they raise prices and I already have mine?
You already have yours doesnt affect you until you buy something else if prices change.
:yeah:
Thanks, I guess I will be buying the wife and kids' theirs today as well.

This is gonna sting.

WDFW is finding they have made some enemies in the Leg with their behavior.  Some of those hold important positions, like Chair of Ways and Means.  I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't get it once again.

While I certainly don't disagree with you I should clarify the proposed license fee increase is not coming from WDFW but rather from Inslee. In previous years it was WDFW who pushed for the increase. This year WDFW did not ask for a license fee increase but Inslee did.

Maybe the Nigerians are pressuring him for a new source of funds to tap?

Can you buy my ‘21 stuff for me while you’re at Rick? :chuckle: Washington license & permit apps just make me cringe to do it at all anymore.

I knew borrowing that gun was going to come back to haunt me.  Now I have to adopt you?  :chuckle:

I just logged in and bought my hunting and fishing license for 2021 so I could get my spring bear application.  Went ahead and got all of my special permit applications.  $350.  :yike:  Still have to buy the wife and kids' licenses.  Daughters are 16 and 18 so no discount for them this year.  I am going to be into this $1,400 this year.  :bash:

I was into it at least that amount last year.  Possibly more as I purchased 3 multi-season passes.  Along with a Weyerhauser pass and my duck lease.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

I’m buying in WA, AZ, WY, and OR this year.

I now measure the cost in what I’m buying for my wife.  Kitchen and bath remodel this year :chuckle:
