Blowfishing the carp spawn

Lucky1:
Really cool. We used to shoot them with bows back in MN. Lots of fun. I didn’t know about shooting them on Vancouver lake. If my shoulder ever heals back up, I am going down there and give it a try.
A 20 pound carp is huge!

Kain:
That little rod is doing some work.  LOL

NRA4LIFE:
That is really cool.  Have you ever tried smoking them?  If you can get past the bones they're not too bad, a little oily.  We used to shoot them with bows back in WI when I was younger.  Me and a buddy used to go out in a canoe.  He shot a monster one time that towed us around for awhile.  That one might have been 40 plus. We took them to a local bait shop and the guy would sell them to some coworkers down in Milwaukee.  Got us free minnows for the summer.

Kain:
I might try it one day.  If it was any other body of water I would do it now.  Its just something about that lake that seems too nastyy to eat anything out of it.  I know lots of the Russians keep carp at the Felida launch so they must be fine.  I just have to get over it probably and try one.  For now they will be bait for crawfish and maybe sturgeon.
