Amazing how many people never learn to think like this. Once you start, it makes it really hard to spend money on... dang near anything  :chuckle:

That being said, one of our dogs would have been a huge waste to buy pet insurance, the other would have been money well spent. We opted not to..

My dog recently fractured his lower canine. The remaining canine had the pulp exposed which started to die. Thankfully I had insurance that covered the root canal and custom crown (cost was around 3.7k). I would highly recommend dog insurance, especially if you have a working dog because the risk is even higher in the field.
