Trigger Locks on New Shotguns

Hi, I just brought home a brand new Mossberg 500 Super Bantam 20ga turkey shotgun, from Cabelas. This thing has one of those red plastic trigger locks on it and there are no corresponding keys or other hardware that looks like it would unlock it. Plus, the lock itself has no obvious locking mechanism, but it's definitely on the trigger! Can't find anything in the manual about how to remove this. I have tried "pinching" both sides of the lock (it has two metal center pieces) but that won't work.  I haven't purchased a brand new shotgun since the middle 90's so I'm unfamiliar with all of this stuff. The shotgun did come with a cable lock and separate keys for that, but it's not attached. Any suggestions?

The store should of removed it. Go back to the store

Never mind, I figured it out.

Tree farmer, they might have had a .410 there. It looked very similar to mine.  Check online. I had one of the absolute worst gun buying experiences of my life at Cabelas with this transaction and I will never buy another firearm through them. In fact, I might not ever shop there again. I wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy.

Thanks.  I bought a gun there probably 5 years ago and it was awful.  Bought one a sportsman’s warehouse the other day and it was a real pain in the butt.
