Appraisals in Rural WA

Just a head's up gang: scheduling appraisals in rural WA is taking from 30-45 days, in most cases. What this means is that your lock must be for longer periods of time. Usually now, I'm waiting to lock the rate for you until I get a due date from the appraisal company. Remember that as the length of the lock increases (15, 30, 45 days, etc.), the rate increases slightly. This is true with all lenders. The benefit of dealing with a broker like me is that I have over a dozen lenders to compare rates and average closing times. Some of you want the lowest rate. Some of you want the fastest close. You get to choose. But the length of time it takes to get the appraisal is up to the appraisal company and out of the lender's hands. PM me if you need more information.

May be tough to find one at all these days for rural land
