Bearpaw Season - Spring 2022

Chris and Jim from Tennessee both got the Merriam’s needed for their slams, they had an exciting hunt, jim had taken a Merriam’s in the past but wanted a whiter bird, mission accomplished.

Bummer just missed nice tom at 40 yards, sitting tigh, live decoys all around us, so maybe we are still in the game for a different tom.
bearpaw:
We worked this bird for a long while and finally Sam from Mississippi dropped his first birthday bird this morning, happy birthday Sam!
bearpaw:
Nathan from Oregon also nailed a dandy Merriam’s tom this morning that is going to make an outstanding strutting mount, well done Nathan, you’ll have a lifetime of memories with that mount!
