Bank fishing above Davenport?
« on: April 19, 2022, 10:28:13 AM »
Moved further out west this spring - not much experience past lake spokane campground really. Anyone know of decent bank fishing spots north of davenport/reardan area I can take the kids to after work for an easy trip? Was looking at porcupine bay or possibly the falls at the avista park there?

I would try porcupine campground, I've had good luck there fishing the shore line for trout.

Go to Twin Lakes, outside Harrington.  Good for trout.  Watch for rattlers

Fort Spokane.  Go into the picnic/beach area.  Nice place for kids to swim when the water is up and there is all kinds of bank fishing for walleye and trout.  Can get busy

Lincoln, go to Welsh creek cove.  There is a little covered area with benches for seating as well.  When the water is up, you can fish from there or walk down the beach area when the water is low.  Great for trout.

Hawk Creek when the water is up.

Porcupine gets overly crowded when the weather warms up, I stay away from there unless going on a boat.
Right wing shooter, I aim for the left!!!

Nowhere in your incoherent rambling did you come close to what can be considered a rational thought. Everyone is now dumber having heard it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

Got a place out in Reardan, right in town. Love it so far. A lot more our speed as far as town and school size.
