Hunting Argentina
« on: July 29, 2022, 08:07:21 PM »
Hey All,
I’m planning a trip to Argentina this fall and want to do some hunting while down there. I would love to hunt red stag, but I’m going in the fall and believe they are out of season. Does anybody have any experience hunting down there? Any outfitter or specific hunt recommendations. We will start in Buenos Aires so the closer to there the better, but I understand it’s a huge country. I am aware of the dove hunting but am open to suggestions!

Thanks!

Dive hunting is world class down there. That should definitely be on the “to do” list.

I hunted Argentina this spring.  Our fall is out of season for them.  For Red Stag you really probably want to go in March.  Duck Hunting down there from May to July is probably the best in the world.  I felt bad for the ducks but it didn't stop me from harvesting more in a few days down there than I do in several seasons combined up here.

I am going in Late march early April you have to remember once you cross the equator that the seasons are opposite so if you are looking for a fall hunt I can book you for Axis deer Blackbuck and water buffalo for Argentina but if you want to hunt red stagg I can book you for England (estates hunt) and other places in Europe
