Peyser taxidermy
dvolmer:
Lots of guys saying "you get what you pay for" on here. Peyser up until 5 or so years ago was the best of the best. He took a long time but his work was top notch. He did work for the best hunters and businesses in the world. Cabalas used him and other top name outfits. He mounted 4 bull elk we took in Dayton in 2006 and did a great job. He took a long time though. I think something went wrong in his personal life and or he got over extended. Sad to see. What he has done is wrong and criminal in my mind. If I had stuff there (especially trophy antlers) for years with no response, I would be on his doorstep like some have mentioned. You can loose a deposit and a cape, but trophy antlers need to be returned. I like what somebody else said, don't leave antlers with the taxi until he is ready to actually do the work after the cape and forms are ready. But its like life, ya never know when someone is going to go under. Even the best can go under if not managing business properly.

I don't think it's possible for any taxi to realize the anxiety someone can have of not knowing. Wondering if to be patient/understanding or go nuclear.
Makes me sick thinking about it and brings back bad memories....
