Utah just came out prohibiting shed hunting until April 1st because how tough it is on the critters. Let them be till later on.

Won't be long before these state bans shed hunting on public land due to all the pressure.
Then shed hunting permits. Not fun anymore

Been like that for 20 years now on most elk game ranges
Due to the same reason
Elk stressed by the masses
