Wolf in sheep's clothing? CNW
« on: January 27, 2023, 09:12:48 AM »
Does anyone know much about Conservation North West group? After looking at their info I can't tell if they are and ally or anti hunting group. It's hard to tell from the emails I see.

Wolf in sheeps clothing. Anti hunter Led by Mitch Freedman whom allegedly belonged to a radical environmental terrorist group that spiked trees and ruined equipment. They have been on the wrong side of nearly all lawsuits affecting sportsmen.

From their "about us" page
"Bold, innovative, and effective, we’ve protected hundreds of thousands of acres of wildlands, supported the recovery of threatened species from wolves to fishers, and touched thousands of lives throughout the greater Northwest. "

that's really all you need to know. >:(
Introduce someone new to hunting this year.

Definitely not friendly towards hunters. I posted an "atta boy" once on one of their posts about someone in Idaho shooting a wolf. 3 days later.....my house was egged.

I really think that hunters whether on huntwa or not, need to start infiltrating these groups, go along, see what is said, play the part, record secretly if needed (like project veritas)  be real nice to be a fly on the wall, see what kinda crap they are up to and expose their fraudulent garbage.  If I lived there still, I think I'd might try that, dye my hair green, get a fake nose ring and voila!  Anyways, if one had enough time on their hands, each join a different one, gather up some good intel, use it against the state.  Not cause a ruckus, just report back on what was said. Just my  :twocents:

I wanted to post pics of the egging to a Peta page and call them all murderers.  :chuckle:

It seems these anti hunting groups are the ones that send out the most emails asking for donations. This CNW group doesn't put things like wolves, manatees etc in their emails like some of the others I keep an eye on to see what they are up to. They do preach biodiversity which to me was a red flag. Thanks for the heads up.

Mitch Freedman Director is a alleged reformed ecoterrorist. Ill let you decide what how much trust to put in the director and the organization as a whole.

That doesn't shock me.  When I worked with WDFW we had anti-gun, anti-hunters working there, most temp jobs, but wtf?, also most young, college age/in school still, being brainwashed and working for us.  It was despicable.  Actually had a carpet lover from S.F. work with me sometimes... we thought she knew someone who was approaching us in a rig...she stated "I don't know that person, I'd never be friends with someone dressed in camo."  I wore head to toe camo the rest of the work season with her, don't think she even understood it  :bash: Also had to google tamarack in front of me, when I told her of deciduous pine trees and that no, it wasn't all beetle kill and just devastating  :chuckle:  Dumb be-otch that one!

Have attended a few meetings, worth it to see how out of touch these folks are.  Be careful out there
