ISO #11 primers
« on: March 12, 2023, 09:59:22 AM »
I have picked up a new to me Hawken from a fellow HuntWa member.  Anyone have a lead on CCI #11 primers or RWS 1075 primers?  Haven’t seen them for sale anywhere.  I did see them once on an email from MidwayUSA but didn’t guide think I needed 10 tins.  Maybe I should have…

Anyways any help in acquiring #11 primers would be appreciated.  Thanks!

As an alternative…

Anyone in Gig Harbor to Silverdale interested in going in 50/50 on a 10 pack of CCI #11 Magnum primers (10 tins).  Looks to be around $102 plus tax to my door.

Not sure those are the ones you really want for hunting.  Those are labeled REPLICA and will not have the fire power of a regular #11 or #11MAG cap.

Those are meant for shooting real black powder from a replica rifle.

Keep shooting muzzleloaders - They are a blast!!

True, but they were purchased a long time ago with 50 cal Rifle and 45 pistol kits, and have worked fine shooting both. Never have had a misfire.
Granted, there may be better options now days.

I've got at least one tin of the CCI # 11.  I'm in east Pierce Co., so not too far from you.  PM sent.
Hunt hard and shoot straight!

Talked to the guy that has the shop on river rd in Puyallup last week. He said RWS went out of business. They got bought out. Dont remember who said it was by. But thought they might be after the airgun division. Said he has an order for about a 1000 tins of CCI. Expected to be inundated with them sometime in the future.
