High lake fishing this summer
actionshooter:
1st off... I am specifically looking for your "honey holes" where you park, the fastest way to get there, the best lures to use and the best time of the year.... please don't post, just send PMs :chuckle: :chuckle:
JUST KIDDING
I getting kind of excited for this year.. plan on doing a bit in Okanogan, its been a couple years (3-4) since I have gone and am already setting dates. Who else is getting ready? Feel free to post some pics (that don't give your spot away)....
I always have run spinning gear, but may get all high and mighty this year and try a little fly fishing :chuckle:

Nobody ever responded to this? Well, I've got the same plans but not going to say exactly where until I've cleaned out all the biggins first. Don't worry, I'll post pics of what used to be when I get back.

Didn't draw an Enchantments permit so no current plans to do any high country fishing. This place is no secret so here are a couple from our Colchuck permit a couple years back. Did pretty well with the fly rod catching dinks. Spinning rod caught fewer fish but larger ones.
Anyone care to share their go-to lure/fly setup?
Stein:
I'll do two trips with my son, last year we saw some incredible lakes and horrible fishing. I think I'll ignore the WDFW website that guided me to fishless lakes and just pick ones that we want to go to.

Send pics during the day so I can look at those instead of working :)
