Thanks I will check that out.

GWP:
I purchased one and neither the wife or I can dig with a shovel because of shoulder injuries. We are both fine while upright but when down by the hole trying to dig it is quite painful and not a lot of strength in that position to move sand. She loves it for her gardening though! Nearly indestructible.
We used the ‘old style’ tube with a vent hole until a friend let us borrow his ClamHog, or Hawk, or whatever they are. Now we have two of those. Night and day difference. I let a neighbor use one not long ago and I think he regrets it as they are not cheap to purchase. Sure makes it easier though!

I was on Englund for something else so took a look.

I go on a 0 tide and do just fine.  A lot depends on the wind direction and your location.

Very doable...most clams hang in that range anyway..
Just a more narrow window...and less surf buffer..
