It was Als birthday today
« on: November 23, 2023, 07:53:25 AM »
Today was Al Stovers birthday.  He was Killbilly on here.   He was an interesting personality, but  he did a lot of nice things for folks on here.  He came through big time on several fundraisers.   Meeting people like him is one of the highlites to me about this forum.  I just learned today he passed in October.   Happy heavenly birthday today Al.  This one will be a tough day for your family as it’s also Thanksgiving.  If I recall correctly Al served our country in Vietnam.   Thank you Al!   Your family will be in our prayers today at the table.

Sorry to hear that about Al. It explains why I did not get a text response from him on the USMC birthday. Worked with Al at the Bumbling B for many years. RIP in peace Wesley Allen.

I didn't know Al had passed. He was a good friend and a good Marine. We had several nice conversations, some in-person, some on the phone. RIP, warrior. Never forget.

I also remember his fundraiser activity when Ray had the site. And some of the events for scoring horns, BBQ's, auctions and mole skin thongs.

RIP Killbilly, you are missed!
Only 2 defining forces sacrificed themselves for you:
The American Soldier and Jesus Christ. One died for your freedom, the other for your soul.

My rock,
He trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.

Didn't know he passed... met him through Billythekidrock who was one of the original members on the site. I always liked him.
