Twispriver:
As hunters and outdoor enthusiasts I thought poaching and/or illegal killing of wildlife was something that we were collectively against. Silly me.

I'm against eating brussels sprouts for dinner, but I am against eating literal poop from a butt for dinner even more than that. Youll get a different reaction out of me depending on what it is you are trying to feed me.

I feel very different about wolves in WA or OR being illegally killed vs wolves in Wyoming or Alaska, mostly because there are significantly more mechanisms to legally kill wolves in some places than others which makes the number of understandable circumstances lower. And I mean understandable and not excusable. I actually really hate that they were poisoned. Poisoning is indiscriminate, the poacher could have harmed a large number of other beneficial predators and carrion animals because they had no direct control over the dispensing of the poison. Even if they had a reason to kill a single wolf, they could have taken out the whole pack, along with any vultures, badgers, eagles, cats, etc. that happened upon them.

That is not cool.

I dont think we could do any more damage to our group then poison any critter. Anti hunters dont see "wolf,"  they see hunters poisoning cute little fluffy creatures.

HighlandLofts:
It's illegal to poison wildlife so I shouldn't be happening.
Just like no guns in "GUN FREE ZONES"
Put up a sign and I won't happen, simple as that.
