I’ve taken elk at almost 700 yards with my 270 wsm. I’ve shot deer, elk, bear and moose with it. I was shooting 140 grain accubonds but made the switch to 140 grain hammer hunters bullets with the same result. 3130fps with the 140 hammer hunter bullets out of a 22” barrel. It’s a 7.5 pound rifle/scope combo thats hard to leave at home when headed out the door.

Got a 270 WSM Tikka laying around so she's going in to get revamped and put a faster twist barrel on it.  Planning on shooting the 165 ABLR out of it. Just not sure if I should go 22" or 24" on the barrel.
