Dave Workman:
From last year's opener, another great memory.
Sept. 15 cannot come soon enough!

ghosthunter:
I have Coach Gun Supreme I bought from a member here in 12 ga. Screw in  Chokes works great for grouse.

I like the compact size.

Dave Workman:
The first 20-gauge double I hunted with was this Stoeger S/S with fixed chokes. I shot a fair number of grouse with that shotgun, in Kittitas, Chelan and up in Okanogan County. Double triggers, pretty smooth triggers.
I use No. 6s almost exclusively in my shotguns. They've never let me down.

nwwanderer:
Is there a bottom to that rabbit hole?  I would second that SKB advice, Japan, not Turkey.

Badhabit:
The only "Japan" made SKB sxs with screw in chokes is the 385 that I know of. I've been looking for a nice used one for a couple of months now. The Beretta Silver Hawk with screw in chokes is another I'm looking at, if the price is right.
