Great questions. And yes you should do it! We arrived Friday afternoon and hunted antelope till Tuesday. My wife shot a 13” buck on Saturday. I shot a 14” buck on Sunday. My two buddies shot 14.5” bucks on Monday. The cow hunt started on Tuesday. So we scouted for elk as we hunted antelope, it gave us a good head start on what the elk were doing before we started hunting. A great plan since we only had 4 days to hunt elk. But it worked out and we got it done! |
