Breathable Waders For Waterfowl Hunting

I don’t have any experience with he brands you mentioned, but I only wear breathable until it’s just too cold, usually around Halloween here. I’m wearing Redington right now & like them a lot. If you prefer a boot foot wader, you should look @ Kuiu also. They have a breathable, boot foot zipper wader made by Simms for the same price as Sitka.

I’ve run lacrosse breath ales for a couple seasons but they’re finally crapped the bed. I’ve gotten to the point where I honestly feel like waders, cheap or expensive, have a pretty short to moderate lifespan. I think cheap might only last you a season, or have defects from day 1. Nice might give you 3-4 years or more if you treat them well. I hunt a ton, and wear mine in some nasty environments so I’m lucky to get 3-4 years. All that being said, I'm pretty heavily considering the Chene Gears next season. I just can’t bring myself to buy Sitka stuff, not to mention I’m just not crazy about their camo options. I bought my wife some Roger’s and hers are nice, but I have hunting buddies that have had pretty terrible experiences with their Roger’s.
ASHQUACK:
I just bought my first pair of the Sitka brand waders. So far I like them a lot. They are somewhat snug but at 6'3" tall and about 300 pounds I bought a 2xl. I should have gone with 3 but that's neither here nor there. The boots are nice to not have to fool around with wading shoes/boots. I plan on putting them through their paces this year and beyond. I have simms breathable as well for fishing and these are outta the box built different. Thicker fabric, better seams and so on. I do have friends who are on their 4th and 5th year of them and they have zero complaints.
ChesapeakeMan:
Sitka can be found for $799 right now. That helps a little bit. I like how trim they look. The Kuiu waders look pretty nice too. Almost need to spend about $10k. Order them all in different sizes. Pick the best one and return the rest. My financial advisor problem wouldn't love that

Or find a local dealer try on the sizes you think will work then order them from somewhere they are on sale.
