I get around 23 mpg driving around town and then depending on the highway, anywhere from 22-25 mpg and it pulls our horse trail just fine. The on board power is pretty cool and takes place of a generator. Looking foward to using it this summer at my cabin for all my power tools, recharging batteries etc.

You’re the third person I’ve spoken with who’s purchased this truck. Seems like a good choice having that hybrid. When my time comes I’ll certainly look at one but I’m hoping my 2014 F150 lasts a bit longer. Just turned 190K with the 5.0.

:o :o :o :o can I buy drugs from you guys?
Seriously, I’m never gonna take a hybrid seriously. The day a guy shows up to hunt camp in a Tesla truck is the day I’m gonna quit hunting. That thing would die off road, hybrid or otherwise
I’m going with an old mechanical diesel because you can hit it with a hammer and a crescent wrench and be on your merry way. Less is more. Best to keep it simple. I don’t need a toy or a spaceship, I’m just looking to burn some dinosaur juice and get the job done
What’s next? A hybrid excavator or commercial fishing boat?

1- A Tesla truck is not a hybrid. It’s a joke and it’s fully electric.
2- The Hybrid F150 is exactly the same truck as a gas F150 with a different powertrain. It’ll probably last a hail of a lot longer off-road than an old sacked out F350 diesel and it won’t jar the teeth out of your skull. Plus who’s actually off-roading an old diesel truck or a brand new F150?
3-eventually you’ll be hitting that old power stroke with a hammer and some duct tape every day to keep it rolling coal at 6mpg.

Ok. That was good. We are gonna need you to do it again though. This time, add some spice. Kick it up a bit. Maybe make it a bit salty? Yeah, add some salt to it this time... :chuckle:

Salt = I work for Ford and I’m still clowning on old worn out super duties.
Night goat:

All you non diesel guys, I have two 7.3’s, in the process of finding another 7.3 Excursion.
Quality engine that you can still work on yourself, and will last a long time! :twocents:

600k+ on mine!
YMMV
Magnum_Willys:
Really enjoyed my Gladiator - but not the ecodiesel - do not get one of those ( after 3 engines I know). Jeep wrangler 2.0 turbo is their best engine by far. Outruns and outpulls their 6 cyl.
My son recently took his Cummins First Gen over the Rubicon. Amazing rig but yea you need to like to tinker with them.
