We all own the tree, like stated public land.
No worries, lag bolts will be removed soon.
When I'm able to access without hiking in, road is still snowed in.
I walked in to access , didn't bring tools to remove .
Only cams I leave for winter soak are in lockboxes.
With the current proposal statewide bait ban, I've been pulling setups anyway. Removing my junk from the woods.
I usually had a old junky camera in the box,had just replaced with a stealth cam. Cause I was getting crap night pics. Pretty sure it had an empty card during late buck. So reality is they probably didn't get a lot of pic depending on when it was stolen.
Also not a spot I'd consider a big buck spot. Just a good spot to pickup a meat buck.
Not sure why they cut the lock, probably easier to cut the chain link.
Yes there was a lock, the old bullet proof ,cheap master lock.
I still have two cams out, that are snowed in. Probably be pulling those as well. I'll update then after we melt off.
See if those are stolen as well.

People suck, to bad you dodnt have another cam on the stolen cam.

I lost a camera and ground blind late archery season. Same thing had it lock boxed to a tree, came back blind was gone lock cut off box and camera gone. People suck even lock boxes don’t stop thieves.

spend a little extra and get a $100 cam to watch the cam. Mount it high out of direct view. You would be suprised how good it works.
