Trailer roof leak fix

(1/2) > >>

ppodpearson:
My poor 22 year old travel trailer is showing it's age from rough use. Need to stop a leak somewhere in the forward part. Just looking for a quick fix to get me by a year or two, at which point I'll just part it out sell cheap. Can anyone recommend a spray or brush on seam sealer? This is my and my hunting buddy's hunting camp, and we are getting on in years.

trophyhunt:
RV places sell a roof caulking, it’s good stuff.

Before I got a new RV, this is what I used to use

My RV guy says recaulk EVERY YEAR.

follow maggie:
Go to a professional roofing supply house & get a roll of Eternabond. Find the leak, clean the area around it & put the eternabond on w/ a nylon roller. It’ll last you several years. Don’t get it @ an rv store because you’ll pay about 8x the price for it.
