Great Bull, congrats!! My kid got drawn for an off-reservation youth tag next to White Sands in 2019. A good friend of mine has guided in NM for years, and lives near Las Cruces. We hunted 3-4 days and saw a handful of critters daily. I concur with everything said above. Son punched his 4 times in the boiler with a .300 WM, and we still had to roust it out through the brush to finish it off. Great hunt, and a wonderful father-son experience! |
