Lorna was on a county commission, that was clearly prohibited. Molly Linville served on her local school board.

What part of serving on a school board violates the WAC?

Persons eligible for appointment as members of the commission shall have general knowledge of the habits and distribution of fish and wildlife and shall not hold another state, county, or municipal elective or appointive office

A school board is NOT elective state, county or municipal position nor is it an appointed position.

maybe I'm confused then.  I assumed public schools fell under the umbrella of either state, county, or city and it's an elected position :dunno:

chukarchaser:
Molly resigned on her own, Lorna gott caught which is a big difference, besides somebody has to be on the board and there are not many in that area

I did some reading and apparently school districts are defined by state law as municipal corporations so your assumption is actually correct. Learn something new everyday I suppose, I was incorrect, carry on.

Special T:
WWF lawsuit was against the govenor. The SA lawsuit was against Lorna and the state paid for the lawyer. WWC LAWSUIT is good for us. They stuck a finger in the govenors eye.

The lawsuit is moot because Linville resigned from the school board.

Lorna likely had some conflict of interest. Is it possible Jefferson County recieved wdfw grants?
