NEED ADVICE: LATE after JUNE 15th IDAHO BEAR
SpicyTacos:
Thanks for all the info. I ended up getting hosed on work. Not the worse thing in the world. Having a job a and deal.
Anyhow, I guess I can use the tag in fall. Aug30 is pretty late. Will berries be dried up? East side of Wa seems like berries are done by then. Makes it a bit tough to find them without easy food source.
Any suggestions or units to pm? I typically head up into up panhandle.
Cheers

Lotta huckleberries most years above 5K in late August into September. Last year on labor day weekend I saw 7 bears in 1.5 days eating hucks at 5,000 to 6,000'

:yeah:
I hunt the north east corner every year for bear in September. Actually I hunt hucks
Bears will be where the last berries are. The weather can be a bit cooler and it limits that amount of area you have to cover. In a nut shell, just find the last berry

Thanks for the encouragement. I figured berrie would be dehydrated by and gone then. Good to know. Might make for some good times if there are select patches of berries still popping off. I reckon a guy could find a lot of bears concentrated in areas with food.
Thanks for the responses.
