Iceberg shrimp closed
storyteller:
I was talking with the WDFW data collector , think it was 2022, anyway first year that multiple days got cut back. She said during Covid, some many people off work, they went shrimpin almost non stop, it put a pretty hard hit on the resource, not sure if we will see all the days we used to , too many people going north now.

I hate to see what next year holds, I wouldn't be surprised to see max pots dropped to 2 or a 40 shrimp limit. There are just too may people that want to catch a limited resource that is easy to catch.

:yeah:
Absolutely insane amount to pressure.

Moorage was full, boats anchored. The launch is always interesting to say the least.

Aaaand voila!....No July opener in Area 6. I guess I'll just focus on the whole 3 days of Chinook fishing that's scheduled for the inside waters. :(
