Even after your elk tag is notched, you can hunt bear and cougars until the hunt dates are over. So pretty cool how they split up the dates this year, take advantage of that time! |

Ive heard that the success rates aren’t quite as high the last year or two but still plenty of quality bulls. Lucky to be drawn for that hunt. I usually put in for it but have yet to draw it. There are elk fields to the north under the powerlines. The entire watershed has quite a few elk throughout it though. The city inspectors are a good resource and sometimes will let you know where they have seen decent bulls. |
