Rats in RV roof

(1/2) > >>

SHED REAPER:
Hey all, For the past year i have had rats getting in the front cowling of the RV and accessing the roof...not causing damage to the wiring yet but the smell is getting awful.
Just wanted to see if anyone has had the same experience. I know i could seal it off but i don't want to trap it in there and, die that would be a worse smell.
Thanks in advance

ghosthunter:
If you can get Peppermint Oil in there away from the entrance it might force him out. And a live trap near the entrance. Because you have to be sure you get them all.

Trap till you don’t get anymore than seal.

Trouble is the smell in insulation never goes away.

Bulk P oil on Amazon.

 :dunno:

SHED REAPER:
Thanks GH, oil ordered and camera and spring traps will be set tonight, I might also try to smoke them out and let the kids play whack a mole

CP:
Check out the rat thread, it might be useful.

Ya i tried those, the rat ran off with it, i even bought one those expensive A24 natures way traps, got a biggin but they've  sense caught on to it. The old victor is working out...Ill try the smoke bomb and post a video if we are successful. Thanks
