Hunted heavy this morning in unit 6. Went through a check station on my way home around noon and they said only 3 animals had came down the st Joe all day. There are 100s of hunters out there, ghost town for critters. |

Hunted unit 5 today. Over the last 3 days. Saw 12 moose. 3 bucks and 40 does. Missed a long shot on a nice buck. Did find out today that all of Stimpson land is now owned by the tribes and are off limits. I thought it was only a select few but was corrected. Makes hunting unit 5 so much harder. Leaving back to Washington in the morning with tag soup. |
