15 weeks on second rotator cuff shot my muzzleloader a few weeks ago and was able to get my buck during modern. Had a little help getting him in the truck, but butchering myself. Arms feel like they will be ready in time for all the snow I will be shoveling soon. I think I timed it well doing both rotator cuffs this year.

Sounds great, 10 months out and I still can’t throw a ball right, afraid to pull my bow back.
“In common with”..... not so much!!

Since the parts we are discussing do not have as much blood flow they take a loooooong time to fully heal, and are not as strong as they were before. It is worse if they tear again, which mine have and were repaired again. One side tore again and I was told between tears and repairs there is not a lot they can do for it with any success.
I sold my higher powered bow but wish I had kept my Matthew's Genesis (25 lb?) that I used for recovery the last time. I actually got a few carp with it when I put one of my bowfishing reels on it.
There are a number of things I used to do that I have relegated to the "I used to do that" file. Plus I am more careful with what I do as the one side is a bit limited on what I can do with it these days and is easily hurt worse.
Until they come up with some kind of DNA reading repair solution that will restore things to how they were 'supposed to be' I am hosed it appears.
Some times there just ain't no fixing things. Worse at my age I am afraid.
Cuterebra are NOT cute!

I will be 70 in December so i am trying to be careful with it but use both constantly. Probably won't start back with my bow until May

Well I tried, but could not wait that long ,one of my elite synergy bows was only 50 lb, was able to turn it down to 40 and shot 3 times today. no problems whatsoever  so far an made 3  really good shots at only 20 yards Was shooting 53lbs before my surgeries and think I can get back to that easily maybe a little more. For now a few shots every other day to start- used to shoot every day, good luck to all who have the surgery .  Do your stretches and exorcise every day  at least 3 times
