My brother and I did a drop camp with Steve Darwood in September of 2005, in the Pasayten. We were happy with our hunt. Ended up with one 4 point buck and my brother saw a bigger buck but didn't get a shot. Always wanted to do it again but haven't yet and it's been 20 years. |

THe Pasayten is hit and miss even for a solo diehard hunter. Typically it is a wonderful camping trip. That being said, my Dad, some of you knew him as Idabooner packed for Darwood for several years. He packed out some pretty good bucks over the years. |

Thanks for all the info guys. I will pass it on to him and his group can decide weather they want to go in for a nice camping trip in some beautiful country. With the remote chance they can harvest a legal buck. Like most of those North Central WA GMU's the deer population is on a definite low. Not to say a few hunters don't harvest nice bucks up there but few and far between nowadays. |
