Drake Boat Blind installation instruction manual request

I purchased a used Drake Ghillie boat blind, I am hoping that someone here is retentive enough to have saved their manual or sheet of instructions.
Specifically, I am looking for some guidance on where to install the brackets on the boat. I cant quite get them in a place that keeps the thing from collapsing...
I see they are supposed to "lock back" like backward knees, but i think there must be some math involved to ensure stability...

TIA for any help, even pictures of stable installations might help me understand the relationship of the bracket on the boat to the top joint.....

Thank you for that link, that is the pit blind style. I have the boat blind.
The main question I have on the boat blind is the placement of the "knees". I have setup the blind and it seems unstable, and collapses at the slightest movement in the boat.....
There are brackets that mount to the deck that act as hinges for the vertical supports. I think I can drill some holes and put pins in to keep it from falling, but that seems to be counter-intuitive to the design :)
