| What pants are you guys rocking in the peninsula? |

I’ve been out here for a few years now and what I’d wear hunting pretty much any wear else, just ain’t cutting it. It’s not the wet, the wet I can stand, it’s just everything getting shredded whenever I’m in the slightest proximity of blackberry, which is everywhere. Any advice would be great. |

I wear those super heavy double front carharts, green or brown. Downside is they DO get a little heavy when you’re bushwhackin’ and they get soaked. |

I got a pair of filson single tin pants for beating brush when they were 50% off earlier this year. They're heavy and stiffer than what I'm used to, but that's the tradeoff for durability. They're also bomb proof and waterproof, though ironically I never needed them in the wet this year, so didn't test that. They have a great reputation with loggers, which says a lot for handling brush. |
